I love the fact that you connect it to the pc if you buy something new and it just gets the standard options/configuration based upon your model number and if it doesn't have it then you can teach it the correct settings using the original remote.

I am sure there is a way around this but may jsut be a limitation on the tv as you are meant to scroll through the hdmi sockets even when using the original remote. The only thing mine cannot seem to do is select hdmi 2 or 3 on my LG plasma. I have had one battery swell up which was a sod to get out of the remote to replace it, but otherwise it has been dropped, sat on everything a normal remote does and have had no problems.Įven the missus is now completely used to it and loves the fact that she presses the touchscreen for Sky and the tv comes on, the sky comes on and the amp comes on all on the right settings. I have had the Harmony One for at least 3 years now. Getting the new remote programmed takes enough time/effort that I haven't gotten to it yet. Wanting to use my new receiver remote as the base, after 6 months, I am still using 4 remotes. With the logitech, I would have had the remotes done in under an hour. That you could script button commands together was very nice though. I found the lcd screen scrolling method to get to functions tedious. I have been looking for a while and I've think I'm down to 2 options. So, I'm looking for a new Universal Remote Control for my living room (as I'm tired of fiddling with 4 remotes!).
